Benefiting from the experience accumulated in the past 5 years, when S.C. Regional Air Services S.R.L. brought in Romania the emergency situation sea survival courses, both for oil platforms and onboard the transport helicopters, the company's management decided to actively participate in training the Romanian rescuers.

In order to do this, S.C. Regional Air Services S.R.L. offers to the ‘Dobrogea’ Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Constanta County, to organize survival courses for water helicopter accidents for the SMURD personnel performing helicopter missions over extended water surfaces. The expenses for the courses will be borne by S.C. Regional Air Services S.R.L.

The course is called ‘Helicopter Underwater Escape Training’, it is internationally certified and it is compulsory both for the helicopters' pilots and for the personnel carrying out their activity on the marine oil platforms or onboard the vessels having a helicopter operation deck.

A similar course has been carried out for the personnel within the Ministry of National Defence, for the helicopter crews within the naval forces, before deployment into the theatre of operations.
