Starting with 2011, S.C. Regional Air Services S.R.L. is the solely training organization of Romania provinding practical training to the cabin crew members and pilots for emergency situations responde onboard aircrafts.
S.C. Regional Air Services S.R.L. has updated the Cabin Emergency and Evacuation Trainer (CEET), the only simulator for the training of the cabin crew members in Romania. The update consits of replacing the simulator's moving system as to bring the scenarios closer to the reality in the field.
CEET is a Boeing 737 – 242QC out of which the frontal part of the fuselage has been used and, at present, it is capable of performing movements using a hydraulic system, simulating up to 10 scenarios (turbulences, depressurization, fire onboard, etc).
The hydraulic system has been designed and built by the INOE 2000 National Institute for Hydraulics and Pneumatics and has been apprbved by the CNCIR S.A. Inspection body.
The simulatior will be used in 2015 also for a program related to fighting the fear of flying, the simulations being made in a safe and controlled environment.
